A criminal record doesn’t have to determine your future…
9 out of 10 employers use background checks when hiring.
Only half of applicants with criminal records get call backs or job offers.
First offender drug charges that were dismissed are seen by employers and the public.
Charges that are dismissed stay on the court’s online docketing system and stay on your criminal record.
9 out of 10 landlords conduct background checks on applicants.
The companies that conduct these checks are often unregulated and not required to register with a government agency.
